Welcome to Flythensmile Dental Service Budapest!

What will a UK Dentist give you that a Budapest Dentist won't?

http://www.ecademy.com/node.php?id=132457#c642817

.... a card telling you to come back for your appointment, at a time that suits the dentist not you, to pay a price without competition, for a service that is built around the Dentist.

If you have the crazy idea that you would like service of your dental treatment to build around you, what you want, what you can afford and when you want to have treatment, then I highly recommend that you contact Andrea here pictured with
Dr. Nelly who did my work..

Andrea is on Ecademy.com ·and a very friendly person so get in contact.

For all of you one-person-bands out there, oral health is connected to your overall health.

How are Dental Health and Heart Disease Related?. So you need to take care of yourself. If you haven't been to the dentist for some time and you know you need some work, then contact Andrea and come to Budapest and get yourself sorted in a couple of days. Even with the travel costs you will save significant time, cost and money compared to treatment in the UK.

As I say the service is built around you and your needs. Andrea works with a number of Dentists and Dental Surgeons in Budapest so no matter how complicated your requirements they can be met in here... All to the highest standards care with the best equipment.

Check it out!

Time is money. If you need one filling, sure the savings from travelling overseas will not be worth it. However if you combine it with a holiday, or as most people travelling here do, or you need quite a bit of treatment, then you do end up saving thousands. Ridiculous is a strong word, its a choice and one around 35,000 Britons a year are taking.

Dental Tourism:
The figures issued by a famous Irish health tourism website shows that 35,000 Britons a year are travelling abroad for dental work.

This number is expected to increase in the next year to between 52,500 and 70,000.

Tourists are apparently saving an average of £3,745.

The typical value of overseas dental treatments on the website was £2,200 before travel costs. The same treatment here would cost around £5,945.

And I was able to get appointments at evenings and weekends without surcharge, which I doubt I could do in the UK, which means I could still get paid for the day and have my treatment, this is what suited me.

Regards,
Mark Mandel

What is a dental implant? How does it look like?

Camlog - http://www.camlog.com/ http://www./

Implants - Medically usually the best and long life solution

Healthy neighbouring teeth and the jawbone can be damaged by traditional tooth replacements involving bridges and prothesis . The bone substance only remains preserved if it is naturally loaded. This occurs via the root through with the tooth is anchored in the bone. Tooth roots can be imagined as deep lying roots of a tree or as foundation pillar for a bridge. If a tooth root goes missing the jawbone is no longer naturally loaded and resorbes slowly. Neighbouring teeth or dentures become overloaded in the long run and loosen so that other teeth can also disappear. Partial and full prothesis remain as foreign bodies, cause pressure points and drastically reduce taste as well as tactile and temperature perception. So the prothesis have to be continually readapted, entailling also insecurity when speaking, smiling and eating. Such problems do not arise at all with implants.

Several million implants are placed worldwide every year !

Although they are initially more costly, implants in the long run certainly represent the more economical solution over conventional crown or bridge treatments.

What does an implant consist of?

An implant consists of commercially pure titanium. This long-proven and biologically compatible material in medical technology is very tissue-friendly. Until this day, no allergies are known towards titanium. Three components, i.e. implant, the abutment and the holding screw are combined with one another. Assembled together the entire construction is about two centimeters long. There are different sizes and forms. CAMLOG implants rank among the most modern and scientifically well-founded systems. Because of its simple handling the treatment time is shorter with CAMLOG implants than it is with many other systems.
If you have lost a single tooth, the resulting gap can be closed using an implant with abutment. No healthy neighbouring tooth is required for this process nor does it need to be prepared as a support post.

An implant is the more esthetic solution compared to conventional restoration.

Modern ceramic materials allow a perfect reproduction of natural teeth. Smaller and larger gaps can also be closed with implants. The implants then serve as abutment for your fixed restorations. Even if you have lost all your teeth, you do not need to settle for a full denture. Even in this situation your dentist can offer you a solution with dental implants, a fixed or a removable reconstruction int the upper and lower jaws that connects to the implant and allows the replacement What is the abutment? The piece that connects to implant and allows the replacement tooth to fit on top of the implant.

What is the abutment?

The piece that connects to implant and allows the replacement tooth to fit on top of the implant.

The Steps of Implant Treatment

Step 0:
The Preparation of the Implant Area (optional)* This step is recommended for patients who need tooth extraction or, incidentally, bone replacement. Following the extraction of severely inflamed teeth, it is recommended to fill the alveolus of the teeth with bone replacement material.

The intervention happens as follows:
The tooth is removed under local anaesthesia, with maximum of care for the remaining bone.
The alveolus is cleaned to ensure that all the chronically inflamed tissue is removed
The alveolus is disinfected
The bone replacement material (possibly mixed with PRP – platelet-rich plasma) is put in
The incision is closed with sutures
Soft laser

The sutures are removed on the seventh day. Soft laser therapy is provided three or four times until the removal of the sutures.A healing period of six months is required following bone replacement to ensure appropriate bone regeneration!
Step 1: The Placement of the Implant During the surgery we place small screw-like fixtures into the jaw-bones. These small screws will become the new root of the tooth. For example, in the case of total agomphiasis, six such implants are required per jaw-bone for perfect mechanical stability. The surgery is done under local anaesthesia and the patient does not feel any pain at all! The duration of surgery depends primarily on the number of implants to be placed; approximately one to three hours.

The intervention happens as follows:
The bones are exposed under local anaesthesia
The socket for the implant is prepared in the bone with a drill.
The implant is screwed in
The incision is closed with sutures
Soft laser

The sutures are removed on the seventh day. Soft laser therapy is provided three or four times until the removal of the sutures.
After the implantation we provide our patients with the “survival kit” necessary for a successful post-surgical care period. This kit includes: antibiotics, pain relief medication, cooling bag, disinfectant mouth-wash, toothpaste, abstergent brush, tongue cleaning brush, interdental brushes, dental floss.

Step 2:
Healing Period Perfect osseointegration following the implantation requires a period of four to six months! Literature is conclusive from the aspect that premature load significantly decreases the success of the implantation. In addition, it may also reduce the life expectancy of the implant! Because of this we always recommend that our patients wait out the six months healing period! If bone replacement occurs at the same time with the implantation, the healing period cannot be less than six months!

If possible, we provide temporary tooth replacement for our patients for this period while ensuring perfect function and aesthetics

Step 3:
The Fitting of the Abutment PieceWhen the screws are firmly fixed in the jaw-bone, then comes the second surgery. We fit an abutment to the implant. Reaching above the gum tissue, this abutment will serve as the basis for the bridge replacement to come.
The intervention happens as follows:
The position of the implant is identified under local anaesthesia
The gum is cut using a trepan
The abutment is screwed on

Step 4:
he Completion of the Tooth ReplacementYour dentist will have your new fixed bridge completed with the help of the implants.
